Starting Bid
Starting bid is when no bids have been placed on a listing. Depending on the property type, the starting bid is either set by the Commissioner of State Lands or by the total taxes of the property.

Current Bid
When bids has been placed, the current highest bid will be the current bid. To place a new bid, enter a bid that is greater than the current bid. The system will default to current bid plus the bid increment. The increment is set by Commissioner of State Lands.

Max Bid
Place a bid for the max amount you want to pay for the property. If bids are placed by other users, the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to the amount you specify.
